Applications & Admissions
The Applications page (under School administration) is your admissions inbox. Every prospective student or teacher who applies through your application form shows up here.
The application lifecycle
An application moves through these states:
- Submitted — newly received, awaiting review.
- In review — you are evaluating it.
- Interview scheduled — an interview has been arranged.
- Approved — accepted; the applicant can become a member.
- Denied — not accepted (kept for your records).
- Withdrawn — the applicant withdrew.
Reviewing an application
- Open Applications and select an entry.
- Read the applicant's answers (captured against the form version they submitted).
- See whether they chose a package at submission (for student applications).
- Add review notes for your team as needed.
Scheduling an interview (optional)
If you want to talk to an applicant before deciding, set an interview time and provide a meeting link. The applicant is notified. Use this for placement or to assess teachers.
Making a decision
- Approve — the applicant becomes eligible to join. For students, this typically leads into payment (a package or the school's monthly fee) and enrollment in courses. For teachers, they gain a teacher role.
- Deny — the application is closed. Denied applicants do not become members, but the record is retained so you keep an admissions trail.
Applicants are notified of the decision automatically.
From approval to enrollment
After approving a student:
- They complete payment if your school collects tuition online (or you record payment manually — see Packages & Billing).
- They receive a student membership.
- You enroll them in the appropriate courses — individually or in bulk — from the course management screens.
Tips
- Keep review notes factual; they are part of your records.
- Use the application status to coordinate across multiple admins.
- If intake is full, close applications on the landing page to stop new submissions.
