Branding & School Settings

The Branding page (under Configuration) controls how your school looks and its core defaults. These settings shape every page your members see and the emails Weblearnia sends on your behalf.

What you can set

  • School name — shown in the title bar, emails, and across the portal.
  • Logo — appears in the sidebar/header and emails. Upload an image; it is stored securely.
  • Favicon — the small icon shown in browser tabs.
  • Primary colour — your brand colour. Buttons, highlights, and accents across the portal use it. Pick a colour with enough contrast for readable text.
  • Default language — the language new visitors see first (English, Arabic, or Swedish). Individual users can override this on their own profile.
  • Currency — the currency used for tuition and invoices (ISO currency, e.g. USD, SEK).
  • Time zone — your school's home time zone. It is used as the fallback display time zone and as the authoring time zone for course schedules.

How branding is applied

When you save, your colour and logo are applied immediately across the portal, and your favicon and page titles update. Emails Weblearnia sends include your school name and logo, so messages feel like they come from your school.

Tips

  • Colour contrast matters. Very light primary colours can make buttons hard to read. Test on a real page after saving.
  • Logo size. Use a reasonably sized, transparent-background image for the cleanest result.
  • Default language vs. preferred language. The default only sets the first impression; each member can choose their own preferred language. (See Language & Time Zone.)
  • Time zone vs. course time zone. The school time zone is a fallback and the schedule-authoring zone. Members still see times in their own zone elsewhere.

Plan note

Editing branding may require a particular plan. If the Branding item shows an upgrade marker, see Plan & Subscription.
