Getting Started

Welcome to Weblearnia, the online platform your school uses to run admissions, live classes, assignments, grades, and tuition — all in one place. This guide covers the basics that apply to every user, no matter whether you are an administrator, teacher, student, or parent.

What Weblearnia is

Your school runs its own branded portal on Weblearnia, reached at its own web address (for example learn.your-school.com). Everything you do — applying, scheduling, attending live lectures, submitting work, paying tuition — happens inside that portal. Each school is completely separate: your data is only ever visible to people at your own school.

Signing in

Weblearnia does not use passwords. You sign in one of two ways:

  1. Email magic link. Enter your email address on the sign-in page and we send you a one-time link. Click it (on the same device, ideally) and you are signed in. The link expires after a short time, so use it promptly.
  2. Google. If your email is a Google account, choose Continue with Google and approve the request.

Tip: Always sign in on your school's own web address. A link or bookmark for a different school will not show your account.

The first time you sign in on a school you have not joined yet, Weblearnia either takes you to an application form (if the school is accepting applications) or to your dashboard (if you have already been added).

Finding your dashboard

After signing in you land on the dashboard that matches your role:

  • Administrators manage the whole school.
  • Teachers run lectures and grade work.
  • Students attend classes and submit assignments.
  • Parents monitor their children.

Your role determines which menu items you see in the sidebar. If you cannot find a feature described in these guides, it is probably because your role does not have access to it.

If you have more than one role

The same account can hold several roles — even at the same school (for example, a teacher who is also a parent), or different roles at different schools. When you have more than one role, Weblearnia shows a role switcher. Pick the role you want to act as; the sidebar and your permissions change to match. Your choice is remembered for 30 days, and you can switch again at any time.

Installing the app (optional)

Weblearnia is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it like a native app:

  • Desktop (Chrome/Edge): click the install icon in the address bar.
  • Mobile: use your browser's Add to Home Screen option.

Installing gives you an app icon and lets you receive push notifications for things like upcoming lectures and graded assignments.

Language and time

  • Language. Use the language switcher (top of the screen) to choose your preferred language. Weblearnia ships in English, Arabic (right-to-left), and Swedish.
  • Time zones. Times are shown in your time zone by default, so a lecture scheduled in another country still shows at the right local hour for you. See Language & Time Zone for details.
