The Library

The Library appears in the sidebar for administrators, teachers, students, and parents. It collects the materials from across your courses into one browsable place, so you don't have to open each course to find a resource.

What's in the Library

Materials that teachers attach to courses or lectures — links, files, videos, images, audio, and text notes — show up in the Library, scoped to what you are allowed to see:

  • Students see materials for the courses they are enrolled in.
  • Teachers see materials for the courses they teach.
  • Parents see materials relevant to their children's courses.
  • Administrators see the school's materials.

Using the Library

  • Browse the list of materials.
  • Open a material to view or download it (files open via a secure, time-limited link).
  • Use it as a quick reference when you remember a resource but not which lecture it was in.

Where materials come from

Materials are created by teachers on a course or a specific lecture. To learn how they're added, see the teacher guide Materials. To find a material in the context of its course, open the course page directly.
