Parent Getting Started
As a parent you use Weblearnia to keep an eye on your children's learning — their schedule, attendance, grades, and billing. This guide gets you started.
Your sidebar
- Overview — your home page, with a child selector to choose which child you're viewing.
- Library — materials relevant to your children's courses.
- Billing — tuition and invoices.
- Notifications — your notification feed.
How parents see their children
You only see a child after the school links you to them through a guardianship connection. Once linked, you can monitor that child — and only your own children. See Linking Children.
A parent can have several children, and each child can have more than one guardian (e.g. two parents).
The child selector
When you have more than one child, use the child selector on your Overview to switch between them. Everything you see — schedule, attendance, grades, billing — is then scoped to the selected child.
What you can do
- Monitor progress — schedule, attendance, and grades. See Monitoring Progress.
- See billing — invoices and payment status for your children's tuition. See Billing Visibility.
- Stay informed — announcements and alerts (such as failed payments). See Notifications.
If you don't see a child
Guardianship links are created by the school. If a child is missing, contact the school's administrator to be linked.
