Parent Notifications

As a parent you receive notifications that help you stay on top of your children's learning and tuition. This guide covers what's specific to parents; for the general mechanics see the shared Notifications guide.

What parents are notified about

  • Announcements targeted at parents (or everyone) from the school's administrators.
  • Billing alerts — when a payment for your child fails or needs attention.
  • Other family-relevant updates your school chooses to send.

Notifications you don't need (like a teacher's grading queue) aren't sent to parents.

Where they appear

  • The bell icon and your Notifications page (in-app).
  • Email, to your account address.
  • Push, if you installed the app and allowed notifications.

You control which channels you receive on. Announcements are important by design and may reach you regardless of per-type settings, but always respect a channel you've turned off.

Turning on push notifications

Install the app (or use a supported browser) and allow notifications when prompted. See Notifications for details and Troubleshooting if it doesn't work.
