Applying to a School
To join a school you submit an application. This guide walks through it from the prospective student's side.
Before you apply
- Go to the school's own web address (for example
learn.the-school.com). - The school must be accepting applications — if it isn't, the Apply option won't appear; check back later.
- You'll sign in (or create your account) with a magic link or Google — no password needed.
Filling in the form
Each school designs its own application form, so the exact fields vary. Commonly you'll provide your name, age, contact details, and answers to a few questions the school cares about. Some questions are dropdowns; some are free text.
If the school sells packages (tuition tiers or course bundles), you may choose one as part of applying.
Submit when you're done. Your answers are saved exactly as the form was when you applied.
After you submit
Your application moves through review:
- Submitted → In review → possibly Interview scheduled → Approved or Denied.
If the school wants to talk first, you'll be given an interview time and meeting link. You'll be notified of the final decision.
If you're approved
- If the school collects tuition online, you'll pay for your chosen package or the monthly fee.
- You become a student member.
- You're enrolled in your courses and can start attending.
See Enrollment & Billing for the payment side.
If you're denied
The decision is recorded and you're notified. You can contact the school if you have questions.
