Submitting Assignments
Teachers set assignments on your courses or lectures. This guide shows how to submit yours.
Finding an assignment
Open the course (or the specific lecture) and look in the assignments section. Each assignment shows its instructions, the due date (if any), and the maximum score.
If your school sends assignment notifications, you'll also get a heads-up when a new one is posted.
Submitting
Depending on what the teacher allowed, you can submit:
- Text — type your response.
- Files — upload one or more files (only the allowed file types).
- Audio — upload an audio recording (for recitation, pronunciation, music, etc.) when enabled.
Add your work and Submit. You have one submission per assignment, so review it before sending. When you submit, your teacher can be notified that your work is in.
After you submit
- Your submission status becomes Submitted.
- Your teacher grades it. They may grade quietly first (you won't see anything yet) and return the grade when ready.
- When the grade is returned, you get an assignment-graded notification and can see your score and feedback under Grades.
Tips
- Submit before the due date.
- Check accepted file types so your upload isn't rejected.
- For audio, record in a quiet place and listen back before submitting.
- Large uploads take longer — use a stable connection.
