Hours & Rate
The Hours & rate page shows what you've earned from teaching. Weblearnia tracks your hours; your school pays you externally (bank transfer, etc.) and records it.
What you see
- Your hourly rate (set by an administrator; it can change over time as you get raises).
- Your accrued hours from completed lectures in the current payout period.
- The resulting amount owed.
How hours are counted
After a lecture is completed, its duration counts toward your hours (or the actual recorded duration if it ran shorter). A nightly process totals your hours within the open payout period and multiplies by your rate.
Payout periods
Your hours roll up into payout periods (usually monthly). When a period ends, your administrator closes it (freezing the totals), pays you externally, and marks it paid — optionally with a reference number you can match against your bank statement.
Tips
- If your accrued hours look off, check that the affected lectures are marked completed and that your rate is correct — raise it with your administrator.
- Hours are based on lectures you actually ran, so cancelled lectures don't count.
