Troubleshooting
If something is not working, find the matching section below. If none of these help, contact your school's administrator.
Sign-in problems
The magic-link email never arrived.
- Check your spam/junk folder.
- Confirm you typed the correct email address.
- Wait a minute and request a new link — only the latest link works.
- Make sure you are on your school's correct web address.
The link says it's expired or invalid. Magic links are single-use and short-lived. Request a fresh one and click it promptly, ideally on the same device.
"Continue with Google" fails. Ensure you are choosing the Google account whose email matches your Weblearnia account, and that pop-ups are not blocked.
I'm signed in but see the wrong school (or no data). You may be on a different school's web address, or signed in with a different email. Sign out and sign back in on the correct address.
Role & access problems
A menu item from the guides is missing. That feature is likely limited to a different role. If you hold multiple roles, use the role switcher to select the right one. If you believe you should have access, ask your administrator.
I was approved but still can't get in. Your membership may be pending a first payment or activation. Check your Billing page or contact your administrator.
Live lecture problems
The Join button is greyed out. The room opens only within the join window before start time. Wait until closer to the start; the button activates automatically.
I'm stuck in a waiting area / lobby. The teacher admits participants. Wait for them to let you in.
No camera or microphone.
- Grant the browser permission to use your camera and microphone.
- Close other apps that may be using the camera.
- Try a supported, up-to-date browser.
- Reload the room.
I got disconnected. Rejoin from your dashboard or schedule. Your chat history is restored when you rejoin.
I can't find the recording. Recordings only exist if the teacher enabled recording, and they take a little time to process after the lecture ends. Check back on the lecture page later.
Upload problems
My file won't upload.
- Check the file type is allowed for that assignment or material.
- Check the file is within the size limit.
- Try a stable connection; large audio/video files take longer.
Payment problems
My payment failed. Open your Billing page to retry or update your card. You and your guardians receive a notification when a payment fails.
I paid but still show unpaid. Online payments update automatically once Stripe confirms them. If your school collects payment outside the system, an administrator records it manually — allow some time, then contact them.
I don't see any way to pay. Your school may not collect payment online (it arranges payment separately), or there may be nothing currently due.
Notification problems
I'm not getting push notifications. Install the app and allow notifications, then check your browser's site settings to confirm notifications are permitted. See Notifications.
Too many / too few emails. Adjust your notification channel preferences. Note that school announcements may still arrive on channels you have not turned off.
Display problems
Times look wrong. Set your preferred time zone on your profile. See Language & Time Zone.
The layout looks mirrored. That is intentional in Arabic (right-to-left). Switch language if it was unintended.
Reporting an issue
When contacting your administrator, include:
- What you were trying to do.
- What you expected vs. what happened.
- The page web address and the approximate time.
- Your browser and device.
This helps them — and Weblearnia support — resolve it quickly.
